    Bedtime for our dolls!  Let us make sure that they look suitable for the daytime and also at night.  

    The clothes are knitted in Mandarin Petit cotton-yarn from Sandnesgarn. The yarn has the same tension as the other clothes in this book - perfect yarn for nightwear.
    I began knitting the nightwear for Grete. A lovely dress in turquoise. It has pink stripes and a band in pink bound round the waist. It is buttoned with a button along the top of the opening front.
    Then I knitted a nightgown for Hans. It has stripes in turquoise and blue. It is a buttoned front, and it has short-legged pants. (This fits to American Girl as well)
    Together with this nightclothes, I knitted an elegant nightgown in turquoise. It has a hood, useful pockets, and is held together around the waist with a band.
    At last, I knitted small slippers ...
    to keep the feet warm.
    And now we know that Hans & Grete will be cozy in bed.
