(This pattern fits 17" - 18" dolls like American Girl doll, Baby born (Zapf), Hannah (Götz) and Alexander doll)

clothes. I knew this is just what she
would like.
These clothes are knitted in both
Thin Merino Wool and Lanett from Sandnesgarn. Lovely yarn for doll
clothes. The clothes can be knitted in
any 3-ply yarn.
The blouse has blue and beige stripes along the edges.
The puffed sleeves are short.
The neckband has stripes in white and beige and end up knitting st st in blue before casting off sts.

Cast
on 80 sts in beige and knit 3 rows ga.
Change to white and knit 2 rows ga.
Change to blue and knit 2 rows st st. Change to white and knit 2 rows
ga. Continue knitting in the round and knitting 2 rows st st. On next row increase ...
Front: Continue
knitting st st and decrease 1 sts at each side = 36 sts on row before knitting
st st until work measures 13.5 cm. On

each side on the 1st row.

This time I have knitted the back over only 28 sts to get the buttoning around the waist along each side back of the pants.
The pants can be knitted in any color. If you wish the pants can be knitted at any length you prefer. Lastly I crocheted small flowers in white and sewed them to the legs.

Cast on 40 sts in beige and knit 3 rows ga. Change to
white and knit 2 rows ga. Change to blue and knit 2 rows st st. Change to white
and knit 2 rows ga. Change to blue and
knit 2 rows st st. On next. row increase
1 sts in every second sts = 60 sts on row.
Continue knitting st st in blue until work measures 10 cm. Put work aside and knit the other leg in the
same way.
Knit
both legs onto a circular ndl or 4 double pointed ndls and continue knitting in the round ...
Back: Put
14 sts from each side of center back on a new ndl. (28 sts altog). Continue
knitting st st and 3 sts ga at each side over these sts 8 rows altog. On next
row decrease 1 sts at each side inside edge sts like this: K3, k2tog, knit
until 5 sts are left on row, k2tog TBL, k3.
Continue knitting st st and edge sts and repeat decreases like these
every ...
