So beautiful dressed on the doll that she can enjoy wearing it for any celebrating.

(This pattern fits 17" - 18" dolls like American Girl doll, Baby born (Zapf), Hannah (Götz) and Alexander doll)

I had a lot of white yarn in Merino wool left here! As Spring and Summer is coming here now I decided to knit a lovely white dress for my doll. As I like lilac very much I have used this color to knit a little lilac pattern and some embroidery for this dress.

After knitted the white edge in garter stich I have knitted the skirt with purled stripes and lilac spots.

Along the sleeves I have knitted purled stripes and sewed lilac backstitch along the outsides of these.

At the ends of these backstitch I have formed chords like small bows and sewed them to the top of the sleeves/shoulders. Around the neckband, I have sewed lilac backstitch before the garter sts are knitted.

I think this dress become so beautiful dressed on the doll ...

... that she could enjoy wearing it for any celebrating.

A lovely white hat with lilac spots around the edge worked out elegant to this dress.

The hat has a chord pulled through the eyelets and is bound tog in a bow back.

Nice pants was needed for these clothes.

With lilac striped sewed around the legs and a lilac chords pulled through the eyelets around the waist it was nice accessories.

To end this garment I knitted a pair of knee socks. They have lilac stripes sewed around the legs and cords bound in a bow around the ankles.

When the doll was dressed in these clothes she looked great!
