Cast on 72 sts in blue and knit 5 rows ga.  Knit the sts onto a circular ndl or 4 double pointed ndls and continue knitting in the round.  Continue knitting pattern A (Se diagram), 2 rows st st.  On next row increase 1 sts in every sts = 144 sts in total.  Continue knitting st st until work measures 8 cm.  On next row do the following decreases: K4, k2tog across row.  Knit 1  ...

Jacket
Dbl moss sts: 
1st row:  k2, p2
2nd row: k over k, p over
3rd row:  P2. K2.
4th row:  p over p, k over k
Repeat these 4 rows.
Cast on 139 sts and knit 1 row.  Continue knitting a rib k1, p1 alternatively inside 8 sts at each side knitted in ga = front band. Knit 9 rows altog.  Purl next row inside front band.  Next row. Continue knitting 1 row st st inside front band.  Next row from the WS: k8 (front band), k2, p4, k2, p4, k2, p27, k2, p4, k2, p4, k2, purl 13, k2, p4, k2, p4,k k2, p27, k2, p4, k2, p4, k2, k8 (front band)  Continue knitting front band cables (See pattern for cables knitted over 14 sts) and st st and at the same time knit the first buttonhole like this: Knit 3 sts moss sts, k2tog, yon  until work measures 9 cm. Repeat knitting buttonholes every 4 cm. On next row cast off for the armholes and continue knitting front band, st st and cables: K32, cast off 7 sts, k61, cast off 6 sts, k32. Continue knitting front and back separately.
Left side front: Continue knitting front band, pattern and st st and at the same time decrease 1 sts along the arms every second row 5 times = 27 sts on row.  Continue knitting front band,  pattern and st st until work measures 14 cm before decreasing for neckline like this: Begin from the WS and decrease 9,3,3 sts every second row = 12 ...

Pants
First leg:  Cast on 32 sts and knit 3 rows ga, 2 rows st st.  On next row increase 1 sts in every second sts = 48 sts in total.  Continue knitting 5 rows st st.  Put work aside and knit the other leg in the same way.
Knit both legs onto 4 double pointed ndls or a circular ndl and continue knitting in the round. Place a marker for center front and center back.  Always begin row from center back and do the following decreases: K1, k2tog, knit until 3 sts before center front, k2tog TBL, k2, k2tog, knit until 3 sts before center back, k2tog TBL, k1. Repeat decreases like these every 4th row 3 times.  Continue knitting st st until work ...

To make the garment complete I have knitted a pair of shoes with edges in dbl moss sts ...

and a dark blue button sewed along the edge for buttoning.

Shoes
Cast on 36 sts and knit 1 row.  Continue knitting 2 rows dbl moss sts.  On next row knit a buttonhole like this: Knit 3 sts dbl moss sts, k2tog, yon, continue knitting dbl moss sts this row and 3 more rows.  On next row cast off the first 6 sts and continue knitting st st and 4 sts moss sts at each side 6 rows altog.  On next row increase 1 sts at each side inside moss sts and purl back inside moss sts. (For the other shoe knit a buttonhole at the end of the row like this: Knit dbl moss sts until 5 sts are left on row, yon, k2tog) Cast off the 6 sts at the end of the row.
Continue knitting 12 ...
