This year (2016), once a month, we are going to dress our doll Sophia with a new garment.
As we have springtime here now I wanted to knit some beautiful spring clothes for this Sophia collection.

First, I knitted this dress in white. It has small flowers in lilac and leaves in this lovely green spring colour. It is short sleeved and the edges are knitted in lilac and green

The same colour as the flowers.
I knitted a row of eyelets round the waist ...

... and made a lilac chord in double thread to pull through

The pants I knitted in lilac, as I wanted to use my left over yarn. You can as well use another colour if you like. I liked the lilac cloud

White socks with lilac chords and a lilac edge round was beautiful to this dress

As days at springtime often are chilly, I knitted a jacket in this green spring colour. The jacket is knitted without any collar. Then the collar for the dress lay fine round the neck

I have also sewed at lilac button at the top of the front and made loop at the opposite side to keep the jacket tog

The sleeves are folded and have a white stripe between the ridges round the edges

To pick up the colour from the flowers I have sewed a row in backstitches upon the 2 stripes along the garter sts front

The hairband is knitted in white just like each side of the front of the jacket are knitted

A beautiful doll dressed in these clothes I think!
