This time I wanted to knit a really tough sweater for your doll. These clothes are quite rough and lovely for cold days out. The knitting pattern Oscar is inspired by the typical traditional sweaters of Norway (Islender), used by Norwegian fishermen for years, made of premium wool that kept them warm wherever they were, especially with the bone-chilling conditions at sea.

The sweater Oscar is a “little large” and nice to wear when fishing and days are dark and cold. The cap is also knitted large, good to cover the ears when it is windy.

Warm shoes to fit is also knitted to wear when the days are cold. Beautiful warm pants with patches on the knees belongs to these clothes. Now I believe your doll will love to be out a cold winter day!

I have knitted this sweater in grey and a putty color. It may be difficult to find this color, but you can as well knit it in dark and light grey, or in grey and white. It will be nice whatever you chose. As assessories I have knitted warm “shoes”, scarf and mittens.

I am glad I tried Oscar on American Girl doll. Amazingly wonderful, isn't she?
