Well, spring is here again. Lovely to look forward to sunny days! That’s why I thought I would like to knit some nice, new clothes for my doll. I decided to knit some clothes with Aran pattern. Plaits are beautiful for a lot of different clothes. This time I have knitted ...
simple and double plaits and I like the result dressed on my lovely dolls.
I have knitted a blue suit with simple plaits front and back of it. The blue pant is shaped like a stretch pant with a strip under the foot. It is knitted in one piece and has increases at each side before you knit the arms paralleled with the dress.
The green dress however is long legged and very nice for warm days. To this suit I have knitted small shoes. To the blue suit I have knitted socks similar boots. Excellent to this suit. Lovely and warm for cold days. I think my doll is pretty tough in these clothes.
The jacket with a hood is white and has both simple and double plaits and is nice to both models of suits. A cap and a scarf is also there for cold days.
Many enjoy the company of a Madame Alexander Doll. Just like other 18" doll these clothes fit perfect to her. Baby born and American Girl (above) can easily exchange clothes, you might as well dress American Girl or Alexander in the green suit.
