Here is Maulfrid Gausel's fifth knitting pattern especially designed for the popular American Girl doll Kirsten. This beautiful outfit consists of six units, may be the most complete doll winter clothes ever.

Here you can take a look at the four first outfits, one for each month; December, January og February and Mars.

Haukeli, between Telemark and Roldal in Rogaland, - you could never comer closer to the heart of the roots of Norway.

Together with her best friends Kaja and Tiril, Kirsten visits Vaagsli in Telemark, a perfect place when you take pleasure in mountains, snow, sun and ski hills.

This time you can dress your doll in a beautiful outfit for the winter- holiday. I have knitted the clothes
in white, dark and light blue.

The pattern is from the Kirsten series we designed in 2009/2010.
The pattern is unchanged but updated. The clothes are blue and white

I knitted a lovely sweater in white with a nice pattern in light and dark blue. It is easy to knit. It is knitted in the round. When making up, it is cut along each side for the sleeves. (See makeup). The sleeves then sew to the sweater.

The edges around the sweater and the sleeves have stripes in blue before knitted ribs. It is buttoned on the shoulders.

Together with the sweater, I knitted a lovely cap. The cap has the same pattern as knitted for the sweater.

The cap ends I a long top hanging down along the back. At the end of the top, I have made a cord in all colors and sewed it to the top. (see picture)

The ski pants are knitted like stretch pants with blue edges around the feet.

It has a bib front and suspenders buttoned to the bib. The pants are brilliant to go with the sweater and cap. Superb for skiing.

To these clothes, the doll needed a pair of shoes. They are knitted in white with blue stripes along the edges. They are buttoned front.

As for accessories, you will find a warm and good scarf in light blue. Perfect to wear on a cold day.

At last, I knitted a tough rucksack in light blue ...

You will also find a pair of soft mittens.

... on a beautiful cross skiing day.
